Christopher Nolanin ohjaama Oppenheimer keräsi useita ehdokkuuksia.
Oscar-ehdokkaat julkistettiin eilen 23. tammikuuta. Oscar-gaalaa juhlitaan 10. maaliskuuta.
Aki Kaurismäen ylistetty Kuolleet lehdet ei päässyt tällä kertaa ehdokkaaksi ei-englanninkielisten elokuvien kategoriassa. Elokuva oli aiemmin nimetty kategorian 15 parhaan elokuvan joukkoon. Sen sijaan useita ehdokkuuksia nappasivat etenkin elokuvat Oppenheimer, Poor Things, sekä Killers of the Flower Moon.
